.About Me.

Hello and welcome! I'm Irene, a free-lance web and graphic designer currently residing in Miami, FL. I take web site jobs to do in my spare time to build my experience and portfolio. I graduated from High School in June 2001 with a 3.8 GPA. Since 1999, I have been familiarizing myself with the web and how sites were created. In November of 2002 I began training at New Horizons Computer Learning Center in Miami for my CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) certification. By April 2003 I had taken all the necessary classes to complete my training. June - November 2003 saw me working for New Horizons CLC of Miami as their facilities assistant. After 5 months of putting my education on hiatus, I am currently studying to take the 3 exams to receive my CIW Certification.

What I Use

Adobe Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady, TopStyle Pro 3, Notepad, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Macromedia Homesite 5, SmartFTP, WS_FTP Pro, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla.

What I Do

Heavy use of HTML and CSS.
Light use of Flash, JavaScript, PHP, and DHTML.
Design for most/all screen resolutions.
Design for most browsers (ex. - IE, Firefox, Safari), and platforms (ex. - PC and Mac).
Create graphics and web pages with dial-up connection in mind.

Web site fee's depend on the content, graphics, text, deadlines, programming languages, and other details including time consumption of the project.
