Central Parking System started in Nashville in the 1950's with a partnership between Mr. Roy J. Dennis and Mr. Monroe J. Carell, Sr. From the 1950's, the company has grown from a single location to over 4,700 locations, 1.6 million spaces, in 40 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Chile, Germany, Mexico, Poland, and Spain. Our corporate office is located in Nasville, Tennessee.
Central Parking System has an aggressive growth plan over the next several years and is dedicated to consolidating a highly fragmented industry, while providing the best service for it's clients. The company is engaged in the leasing, ownership, and management of all types of parking facilities. As well as shuttle bus operations, on-street parking management and enforcement, toll-way management and city clean teams.
The company became publicly traded on the New York Stock Exhange (NYSE) in 1995. Offering the company to the public has created revenues that will help Central Parking System achieve it's mission: "To operate a global parking and transportation management company dedicated to integrity, growth, professionalism, value and leadership, and providing quality service to customers and clients."
